1. Why and when is this transfer taking place?
Crowley Fuels has made a strategic decision to exit the Juneau and Ketchikan markets. Petro Marine anticipates beginning to serve former Crowley customers on February 17th.

3. Will service quality or inventory levels change?
Petro Marine has built a reputation for responsive, reliable, outstanding service and has well-established supply and distribution channels across Southeast Alaska and beyond. We are prepared to expand our existing product and service offerings to former Crowley customers. We have outstanding teams in Juneau and Ketchikan, which will be strengthened by the addition of all existing Crowley employees in each community.
4. What will happen with my existing Crowley account?
Petro Marine is working with Crowley to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted service to customers. While Crowley will retain your historical account information, Petro Marine will be equipped with delivery location information, including service level (will-call or keep-full), product, tank size and delivery notes in order to provide ongoing product delivery.
5. How do I establish an account with Petro Marine?
Petro Marine will establish a 60-day transitional account for each existing Crowley residential and commercial customer based on your current account class (COD or Charge) and will provide an abbreviated credit application to former Crowley residential customers in order to formally establish an account. Commercial customers will be provided with our commercial credit application to formally establish business contacts and credit terms.
6. Who should be paid for any existing balances?
Payment for deliveries should be directed to the provider named on the delivery ticket. Crowley balances should be paid to Crowley; deliveries after the closing date will be on Petro Marine delivery tickets and invoiced by Petro Marine.
7. I have a proprietary fuel card for purchases at Crowley cardlock sites. Will I be able to use them at the sites after the transfer takes place?
Petro Marine will issue Petro Connect cards to replace all existing Crowley proprietary cards. For specific questions, please contact our local office.
